144 Film Club is a new monthly film club from One Room, designed to bring the joy of independent cinema and collective viewing experiences to Barking Riverside. The first season, Are You For Reel?, is curated by local film enthusiast and One Room member Coco, who is interested in how film can spark deeper conversations about identity, relationships, culture and the worlds we live in. Each event in the programme will consist of a film screening, guided discussion and a safe space for audiences to connect not just with the films but with one another.
